Hi there, a quick suggestion for thoughts/comments/approval from Sift and RayB*

I am quite conscious that I post quite a few survey requests on here and they may annoy people because of the frequency. I also spot quite a few other survey requests from other forum members.

I was thinking that maybe a sub forum, similar to the green room, could be an idea, potentially in the marketing and PR section?

This way people who enjoy/want to take part can easily see them plus those who are fed up with the seeing them don't have to?

*Rayb, just pulling your leg cos of our forum fun yesterday. :-)

Andy, you making work again?? Tut tut, shall have to start calling you RayB Jnr!! ;)

I personally don't mind where you stick surveys, its like everything in this place, if you want to, you will, and if you don't (well some us anyhow) ignore it!!

And then we can have the Green, non members-with-signatures, young, marketing-before-drivel-faction, survey section.

We could even ask Sift to change the name to the UK Long Tail Business Forums.

There really aren't that many surveys, and they don't clog up the forum in any way. Perhaps a quick count of those type of threads and see what they reckon from there.

The 'green' sub-forum has not affected me at all, as I've never been in there (frightened you see) :)

I would have thought there would be much less response in a sub-forum, a lot of people wouldn't go there.

As long as "Survey" is in the thread title, then it's easy to do it or not.
