Depends on what your trying to market really...

If your offering free samples then people are more likely to take your leaflet and act on it.

We have done this for a small new perfume brand in the street and had a great feedback with a good return for their sales.

A great outdoor marketing technique is "clean graffiti". Really effective and a great cheap way to get your message accross. This idea is flexible and can be adapted in a number of ways. Hope this is of use......
