Stealing your private information

I built a plugin that you can install on your website for people to apply for a loan.

Somebody has built a demo/dummy/fake site and installed my plugin. But they haven't finished the site and the telephone number and email address don't exist.

The worrying thing is they didn't change the default email address on the plugin. Which means I'm getting loads of applications from people in Australia along with driving license and passport images and bank statements. Just about everything I need to steal their identity.

Even a basic check of the site or the lender would tell you too keep away. But they don't. A bit scary.

Also reported to the Aussie FCA and again no reply.

Had my 50th application today. I have their name, address, phone, bank details, driving license and national ID number.

It would be so easy to set up a fake loan website do a bit of free marketing and harvest hundreds of people's private details.

You can almost understand why the banks have little sympathy for some of their clients its quite unbelievable (well believable really) people just don't seem to listen to the advice out there

Find a potential client in Aus and sell them the leads (and the plugin, as it is proven locally!).
