I need a platform that can help us manage the social media channels for UKBF in one place. This is LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook for now - but more could be added as platforms evolve.

Currently we use SmarterQueue but this is very much a fire and forget platform, it doesn't seem to help us monitor hashtag, trends or replies or DM's. It is great for sending and scheduling, but then I'm finding we need to log into the platforms individually to deal with messages.
I've used Hootsuite in the past but stopped using it as it was quite clunky; maybe it's improved of late, I haven't looked tbh.

Was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a platform worth looking into. Needs to do what SmarterQueue does for broadcasts but also handle replies, messages and also able to allow us to monitor hashtags to follow (and respond in realtime too during live events)

Not sure about all the functionality you nention, but I use Sprout for managing posts, following key hashtags, tracking engagement etc.

Where are all those self-proclaimed digital marketing/social media experts when you need them to give you their recommendations :)

    Ha Ha Ha
Thats the best post this week and should be mentioned in dispatches :):)

    Hi Ozzy,
Some good recommendations on here. I can recommend Agorapulse.
(Sorry I am too new to post links yet).

It's been a great tool since we switched over to it from Hootsuite and GAIN. Has comprehensive features, as well as the listening side where you can monitor hashtags, keywords, competitors, and more. Good reporting side, plus their customer service and support is fantastic :)

At the moment, purely as I haven't had the time to tinker with others yet, I'm still using SmarterQueue but the lack of ability to handle post replies is annoying. Their hashtag tracking and posting tools are very good, just missing the engagement tools to interact with followers.
It has an Inbox for handling DM's on Twitter and Facebook, but not Instagram, and even then you have to reply with 24 hours and it states that's a limitation in Facebook's API...don't know if that's true or not.

Hey sorry super new here but saw this post.. I would 1000% recommend Agorapulse it covers off everything you mentioned above.

The reporting I generate for clients is amazing, the social listening is awesome. For example, I can type my business name, or a hashtag, and I'll get notifications when it is mentioned.

You have one social media inbox, so all your messages from various platforms land in one place.

With my responses I even set up auto replies like a thank you, if someone commented on my insta post.

To be fair I probably wouldn't want to use auto-responders to either DM's or posts as I don't like them myself. When I follow someone on Twitter and then get an instant automated DM directing me to buy their book or watch their webinars I tend to unfollow pretty quickly.
