Small Claims Court

I am in the process of taking a company to the small claims court for the work that I have completed for them. I have began the process of the claim and am a bit worried about whether I have submitted it incorrectly, your advice would be appreciated. If the company is run by a sole trader and I have submitted the form against the company name rather than the individuals name, is this correct?

Kent trading standards say "If the person is a sole trader, then you are best to sue the owner of the business as they are personally liable for any debts"

If the debtor were a limited co - then this is the legal entity as it is a sole trader then the sole trader is the legal entity and you should make the claim against them personally.
