Look up the rates on skype. I have an all in deal with BT so mobile calls are lower than skype but otherwise skype is not bad. call quality has been ok as well.

14.4p per minute ex VAT

plus 2.9p ex VAT connection charge

We do it for 12p pm ex VAT, no connection charge.

still rather expensive. does seem a better deal to just get a monthly mobile phone contract.
