Simplifying ebay

About 9 months ago we set up an ebay shop mostly as an experiment to see whether it was worth putting a bit of resources into. I was the one to set it up for my company. Since then we have decided to concentrate on other outlets but still want to keep ebay ticking over. What my boss wants though is for it to be more simple to use as I am leaving and he wants it to be as simple a process for someone else to use as possible, therefore also reducing staff time spent on it.
We currently list through auctiva but I am thinking that moving over to turbo lister would simplify things as it is more synched with ebay than auctiva and is easier to manage. Particularly because things edited in auctiva don't alter automatically on ebay and vica versa.
We also want to cut down the amount of time spent on returns/exchanges and just general queries as this is taking up a lot of time.
I was just interested to see what anyone had to say on these subjects and any other ideas of simplifying ebay down.

Hi David, we deal with hundreds of businesses selling on eBay and other sales channels. The main feedback we receive regarding listing is that Selling Manager Pro is a better tool than Turbo Lister. SMP becomes part of your 'My eBay' control panel and allows you to maintain and list stock as well as providing a level of order management control. eBay business forum is also a good place to ask.

Cheers. Sorry I should have mentioned that we do use turbo lister already as that is, like you said, great for managinbg stock, another advantage of TL is that it works well in conjunction with it.

I would go with selling manager pro, with it you do everything off one platform. Turbo lister is for listing and nothing else.

I am curious could the two sensibly be mixed. So list with turbo and then manage in SMP.
