Simple Way To Power Pack a Testimonial.

What is stronger?

"Great food, delivered on time, by pleasant staff and strangely affordable!"

or

"Great food, delivered on time, by pleasant staff and strangely affordable!"

What do you think?

In extensive tests it's been proved time and time again that testimonials with the buyers details on (if the buyer agrees) increase response rates and sales.

Here's the thing ...

It's actually very rare anyone will call them (unless its high ticket price) but ... the mental perception on the potential buyer is massive.

Let the customer write it.
Leave typos in.
Leave grammar mistakes in.
Leave humour in.

Why?

Adds believability.
It add credibility to your offer.
TRY IT ... it really does work.

Hi

Yes I go to bed sometimes, depends who's asking me!

Yes I do this myself when I am selling high priced items.

Go to this page the copywriters home study course on my main website
And halfway dowd you'll see a REAL testimonial with phjoto, telephone number and email address. This guy gets around 1 email a week and a call every now and then.

Thanks

I only sell low priced items:( - Is it not as effective with a lower priced item?

Sounds good to me either way!

I don't think it matters what price your service/product is, we can all benefit from good publicity:)

This is the full testimonial as it appears on our website :

"Great food, delivered on time, by pleasant staff and strangely affordable!" - Gary Raynor, Telecare Services Development Manager (Dec 06)

We didn't use names for the marketing in question (pop up exhibition banner) as I don't think it would have added too much credance - the potential customer can see how plesant and strange we are as we'd be present :)
