I am going to be setting up a small cashback based site on a purchased script. Where users can complete affiliate offers for monetary pay-outs. I please wondered for SEO what are the aspects i should be working on to build up the reputation of this site please? For instance what sites i should try and get backlinks from, what keywords would be best to include within my own cashback site blog that would help my SEO ranking to my site please? If anyone kindly had any thoughts on this i would be forever grateful and thankful it would mean the world to me.

Another one of your ideas that will never come to fruition. Do your own research. Spend time reading blogs and articles on SEO basics and then test your research. 2-3 years should be sufficient to develop the necessary skills and techniques. By then you will have discovered your chances of ranking your cash back site are virtually zero.
