Selling product in UK

Hi everyone,
dont know where to start... ok, ive got an uncle who runs big meat products factory in Lithuania, and he asked me if there would be any chance to do a business by selling his products here in UK. Basicly he said they've got 19 shops in Lithuania and his factory still runs at half speed
If you could give any advice, it would be very appreciated

80% of meat is sold through the supermarkets, there are independent or smaller butchers, but you would need a sales person or a telesales person to contact them and try to do business

We have many Lithuanians in the UK... maybe they would prefer Lithuanian meat (Meat seems to taste different in every country to me).... try to network with them?

I have read above post about a meat shop. It is a most common matter. But I saw another new business in UK, such as: shop online printed balloons. Balloons also a common factor as gift. But I have found a new company in UK, basically they are involve with customized printed balloons. I think, really it is a new theme in business point of view.

You can contact the major supermarkets, meat dealer, market vendors to set up your channels, you can contact the hotel, hotels, restaurants, etc. to build your terminal retail market, suggest the beginning of time can make some promotional offers but has been providing high quality products, I believe companies can improve, I wish you good luck!

Thanks guys for your replies, I did some research and apparently little Lithuanian shops buys all meat from big supermarket which is based in London, they've got 7 big supermarkets in Uk. Anyway I've contacted the person who's in charge of the meat and he wants me to take some samples on September. Any suggestions how should I talk with him and about what , just don't get me wrong, coz I don't understand a lot about business, I'm just doing a favour for my uncle . Thank you in advance!!!
