I have written an e-book guide for museums with Roman mosaics in their collections. If I can get them interested is there are way that they can have a link on their site for people to download the e-book and the profits are shared? Thanks

Create a JV scheme with clickbank or jvzoo. Nice and easy and exactly what you are after. If you don't want to get caught up in the EU Vat moss issue of Tax and selling digital products then clickbank is for you. Best of luck with it

You could also set up a Facebook page, start promoting your expertise on your page and then use Facebook Ads to target Roman fans and get them to your site.

On Facebook you can target the following audiences/interests:

• Roman Empire - 65 million people (Yes, huge!)
• Roman Legion - 6.5 million people
• Western Roman Empire - 25k
• Byzantine Empire - 4.7 million people (Sorry, not sure if this is the same or not. My history isn't great)
• Roman Art - 64k
• Romanesque Art - 63k

You then sell it to them.

Matt, that's brilliant! Thanks for taking the time out to do that, it's a real eye opener. I do have a FB business page and I am seen as the expert for this area but it doesn't equate to sales so I'm looking more into the marketing side now and the figures you have found give me hope!

There's always opportunity and hope Lawrence. As they say, there's 'riches in the niches'.

All you need is 100k people worldwide as a market and they can be the most loyal people who love what you do and buy a ton of stuff. Just create a place where they want to hang out and give them something of value.

A quick strategy might be:

1. Build a site (Wordpress is quick, cheap and easy)
2. Create a free shortened version of your ebook (or something similar to give away) - Called a Lead Magnet
3. Advertise it on Facebook to drive people to your site
4. Capture their email address before they download
5. Set up 3-4 welcome email with content so they buy into your expertise (You can do this in Mailchimp. The automation feature is now FREE)
6. Sell you full price ebook to them on the 5th email.
7. Keep them as advocates and sell them more stuff.

Matt, thanks for breaking the process down for me, I've been looking at sales funnels and really not understood the whole thing but you've made it very straight forward. I have a website and a few things that I can have as freebies and my mail list is with Mailchimp (only about 500 so far) so I will set that up. Thanks again, it's been really helpful.
