Yeah I need to get a website set up and a dormain name, is that a field you cover? Also need to know a little about pay per click if you know anything? Sorry complete novice in the advertising world ha

Pay per click works well, but you have to be careful or Google will eat your budget for breakfast.

I would recommend local pages, I've been doing it recently for loads of different trades. You literally add a new page to your website and use the keyword search term of roofing in Peterborough, and then all small areas around too on different pages - helping you cheaply and easily move up the rankings of search engines in local towns / villages around you.
