Hi guys,
is it law to provide a cooker when letting out a property?
My estate agent says it isn't a requirement to provide a cooker. Someone who came round to do some work said they used to let a property out and they seemed to think it was law you had to.
Just had a quick google search and one website says you do, the other you don't? The cooker has been removed from the property due to it making strange noises (Didn't want to risk leaving it in). The tennant will be gifted a sofa and a good washing machine as well. (No use for them myself so they may as well remain in the property).
