Hi,

We are looking at starting to send SMS messages to our customers for various things and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with companies providing SMS services and could provide recommendations.

I've looked around a bit and they all seem to offer generally the same thing (unless I am missing something) so I was wondering if it just comes down to going with the best price.

The below to look pretty good:
www . swarmtext . com
www . textlocal . co.uk

Has anyone had any experience with these? - Swarmtext seems quite a lot cheaper for some reason at 3.8p as opposed to 4.9p (starts to get slightly lower after 10,000) for Textlocal and I am wondering if it costs 25% more what you are getting for that extra money - or is it the same thing and Swarmtext is just cheaper?

Thanks for your thoughts and advice

Hello,

Price is certainly a factor... I can match those prices for you if you join www.txtlocal.com

We have been going 6 years and have over 40,000 users - ranging from Google & MySpace to thousands of small local businesses, services and community groups. Check out the site - our case studies and countless testimonals speak for themselves.

Swamtext look great, but are very new i think... I could not find on a Google search?

Cheers,

Al.

InTouch CRM is not only a CRM but also integrates email/SMS marketing, at a good price too. All you need to do once you've signed up and purchased SMS credits is to import your data (make sure all contact records come with a mobile number, obviously!) and create your first SMS campaign. You'll then be able to see the campaign results/progress both by clicking on the campaign itself and also clicking on the individual contact's record.

Hi,

We use textlocal for all of our messaging services and would not hesitate to recommend the service and online portal. Very easy to use and flexible service.

I can't comment on the other provider but will take a look if they are 25% less :)

Thanks

Richard
