Hi, I'm looking for suggestions to replace our existing CRM.
We currently use a two-user low-ish cost (£75 p/m) CRM to manage our B2B correspondence/newsletters. That gives 3 users and 50, 000 email credits (per month) which we easily use. The database is circa 20, 000 trade prospects/customers.
We use our current CRM to send B2B marketing emails but it is restricted to very basic HTML. Ideally we’d be looking for a drag/drop email interface that will create good looking, work on any device emails that don't look like they're from the 90s! Functionality wise, we need something that we can customise and segment per customer type, business type, country and also email engagement. Our current CRM uses user defined 'groups' that are a bit restrictive.
The other element our current CRM is missing is the ease of reporting and analysis above and beyond exporting a CSV data to then do extra spreadhseet work.
SalesForce, although it appears to tick all boxes, is looking quite expensive in comparison as, if you use it to include a commensurate level of email credits, it works out at least ten times the cost i.e £700+ a month. You can opt for a cheaper version where you can then integrate with something like our current email markting platform (Pure360) where the emails are paid for using the email platform's credits. This is looking like around £120 for a two user license plus about £150 p/m in terms of email credit spend.
The other thing we use is Sprout to manage, schedule and report on our social media posts across the usual channels. That costs us about £130 a month. SalesForce claims to be able to do what Sprout can do, so economically is looking attractive and makes more sense if we can ditch Sprout in lieue of SalesForce.
So, in a nutshell, is there anything that will do what we want (based on the above) that is cheaper than SalesForce at it's most basic and costing circa £300 p/m or lower including email credits? And does anyone use SalesForce to do social media management in a way Sprout/Hoot Suite?
Thanks
Dan
