Do any of you receive money from customers / clients when out and about from the office? Rather than phaff about with bank transfers etc, what's the quickest, easiest way that you get it from them, within seconds of requiring it?

Some of the customers are elderly and not really good with techy stuff, and really needs to be a very quick, simple process - a lot of the transactions would be over £100, about 2 / 3 times a week.

Any ideas please?

Zettle, SumUp, Square and Stripe do card terminals that connect to your mobile phone or they do standalone terminals also.

you pay a small fee of around 1.7% per transaction.

if you don't want to take cash or do bank transfers, cards the only way to go but will have a small charge.

If you are working at that margin on £100 transactions, it would be better to go stacking shelves at Sainsburys.
12 employees doing 6 transactions of £100 per day turnover £7200 per day.

Net profit after everything including paying wages to self at 10% £720

Wages + £720 a day for stacking shelves .... I am sure a lot op people would jump at the chance!

I run a payments business which makes bank transfers super easy. Customer receives a link, they select their bank and accept the payment without having to enter bank details/ payment amounts. They can also take a picture of QR code in person and make the payment.

We want to get rid of card payment fees. You are welcome to use the product for free for 2 months. If it works for you we can talk pricing based on volume. Would be a small fixed amount per month.... alot cheaper than card payments. let me know if interested in a conversation.

Sure you can see the website here - www dot directpay dot uk Happy to give a demo on a call, or feel free to sign up. There is no obligation or commitment. Pricing can be flexed depending on volume.

Just recently started, got some early customers using the product, but still trying to gain feedback. Let me know if you have any thoughts.
