why would i have spent £15,000.00 on chairs and tables.
One of my first businesses was to run a burger van and I used to make very good burgers (they were Birds Eye).) if i do that the landlord would raise the rent to make up for the shortfall in electricity.
thanks
My van cost me £500 and my mother would help me chop onions at 2am when the onions ran out.
You only have it seems a personal license from somebody to trade from your spot which has no security.
Maybe tomorrow that "landlord" will decide to muscle in on your goodwill and trade himself. The point is you only have a personal licence which is all verbal and hence wishy-washy.
As such if that is all you have then he can give you reasonable notice to leave and probably you would then have to cart away your trailer van with your table and chairs.
You are leaving things much too much on trust with people, whereas you will need to put things in writing unless you are prepared to take a risk that you will not be left in an unsavoury pickle.
