Project management - Alternatives to basecamp

Hi there,

I'm looking for a good project management system to keep a close track on things. Ideally it will have a client front end, time keeping and some sort of email-tracking. I'm looking at basecamp at the moment, but I'd be interested in knowing if anyone has any alternatives to it. This is for a team of about 20 people - some in-house and some freelancers. I don't really have any problems with basecamp, but I don't mind doing my own hosting and I'd be interested in any opensource options. Otherwise I'd be interested in SaaS options.

I have used casecamp as a customer and was impressed, although I have never used any of the others.
