A look into our office, currently quite untidy as our cleaner/office junior/my dad(delete as applicable) has not been around to sort it out in a few days.

It looks very dark as it is raining outside and i had to close the blind to prevent a complete whiteout of the office

I'm going to redress the balance of this thread back towards those of us wh may be feeling slightly inadequate given the tidyness of the offices on display so far...

So here we go for all those without OCD:

Apologies if the images are jumbo sized but too busy cleaning the office to resize;)

I have a desk in my kitchen! I need to move house but as I only became S/E this year I have a while to wait before a mortgage can be given as need to supply 2 years of account.

I am classed as an 'OCD freak' so I am loving some of these pictures - all neat and tidy!!

I am glad Maxine hasn't posted a picture - I am a switching wreck when I leave her little office space!

    Hattey :D

PS: if you go to http://floatltd.wordpress.com/2009/05/18/garage-conversion-for-office-space/ you can see what it was like when it was done - however, it is NOTHING like that now as she has been in it for a couple of years!!!

Wow Phil, you are a neat freak... pity your not in Edinburgh or i'd come over and mess that up a little for you, aslong as the snake didn't get angry.! ;)

Some nice little offices, my office in the studio is organised chaos. Part email, part repairs of instruments, part supplies! I can touch all 4 walls at once too :) haha!!

That's a nice little office you got yourself Keith! I take it you built it yourself?

Must be quite chilli in the winter though!!

Yes the boys built it over the course of a couple of months, it was fitted around other jobs as time allowed.

Anything but cold mate, it has over a £1k worth of insulation and double glazing.

    Toasty!!!

    :)

Too many tidy desks, a tidy desk tells me only 1 of 2 things..... a very quiet business not making enough money or quiet business charging too much to too few.

My desk looks more like a civic amenity piled with junk clutter tons of bits of paper and the odd half eaten biscuit and at least 2 coffee cups festering...

I do however know where everything is and the stuff uptop is very switched on and tidy, but as a business making money a tidy desk aint whats important.

I do try and clean on a friday afternoon tho... but it's difficult whe you do as much as we do.. and it usually means I can see my keyboard and have my recycled wellyboot coffee matt ready for Monday mornings java session.

Thats what you get when you sell wide a product range as we do, and spend 90% of your time on the phone to customers.

It was going to be a lot larger, but they caught me in the act, neighbours grassed me up to building control. We had the timber frame in place and had to take it down and adjust it.

It complies with building control, mostly, and is exempt from planning, just.
