Too many tidy desks, a tidy desk tells me only 1 of 2 things..... a very quiet business not making enough money or quiet business charging too much to too few.
Or, and forgive me for being blatantly flippin obvious here, poeple are organised enough to simply keep it tidy
are the monitors running off the laptop? what kit do you need to do that?
Nope they are running off the base unit to the bottom left. It's fitted with two Nvidia GeForce 9600 cards capable of powering two monitors each. I'm considering adding a fourth once I have found a way of sneaking it past "she who must be obeyed" ;)
powered by the base unit bottom left I would say

Nice to see everyone using 2 screen technology... I cant stand using a single anymore.

    Sco Logic
Too right. I moved up to two screens about four years ago and to three screens about a year after that. I definitely wouldn't go back now...

Crikey you must have a small bottom to use that desk:p oh and you need a new mousemat;):D

Lol (and at the below comments :))

Up until 3 days ago I had a chair with three legs. I've now upgraded to a chair with four. Next step is a swivelly one.

And I've never got mousemats to work, just pinch a sheet of A4 every 3 or so days from the printer - and as a bonus, if I need to make a quick note, it's always there!

I used to do this! got quite annoying though because whenever I had finished with a sheet I'd have to take note of anything I hadn't seen to yet. So now I just use postits - much easier :)

    Right

I have to ask this as its doing my head in. How do the simple people amongst us post a pic as this never seems to work when I do it :(

The way I did it is thus:

    1) go to www.imageshack.us and upload your photo
    2) on the page that loads, copy the "Direct Link" in an orange box (will look something like http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/9226/opic.jpg) - copy this
    3) in the reply box there is a yellow/grey square (if you hover over it it says "Insert Image" - click that and then paste the link from imageshack. It should appear straight away

Don't mention adobes! I did last night, then about 10 minutes later he posted in another thread

Its definitely a user on this forum playing a prank! :D

Either a user clever enough to project the image of being an amusing moron... Or just an amusing moron.

The debate continues. Who is Citizen Erased?

I'm off to start a thread to ask that question.

Only just moved in. Will be covered in saw dust and loads of of cuts of wood soon :D

Simon, you really need to get that wiring sorted out:eek:. It looks like twin and earth just surface mounted.....in a wood shop?

For your own safety, forget about the regs and the law for now, it's your life we are talking about.
Get it either re-run in steel wire armoured or in metal conduit ASAP. (please)

    regards

    Steve
