Possible new business idea (help needed)

Hi Guys,

I was searching the internet today for a keyring for my bestfriend as she has just gone away travelling for a year.

I came across this website

Some of the keyrings on there are perfect for what I want. Only problem is, they ship from Canada.

I can't find any sites from the UK which make similar items.


I thought there might be a market, and maybe something I can do?

I have no experince in buisness though, or deisgn. I currently work full time in customer service.


How would I go about getting keyrings like that?

I could always sell to friends and family first of all.

Any help / advice really would be appreciated

Contact the company and tell them that you are interested in using them to supply keyrings for your new business here in the UK. Ask them what sort of prices they can supply you at, and what the minimum order requirements would be now, and as you scale. Alternatively you could find a keyrings supplier (try google or alibaba) and show them the designs you like and they could give you prices and MOQs (minimum order quantities) at specific prices.

How many you need for a start? i have a friend who can make from jewelry,bracelets, any items in mosaic......etc.
