Can anyone recommend a free PDF > Word converter?

We currently outsource our PDF editing with our printers - I think we could save a few quid if we did it ourselves.

I don;t mind paying for a decent tool - but seems silly if when can get one for free.

Thanks for reading..

It would help if you told us which version of Microsoft Word (Office) you are running, but if it's Office 2007, then you if download and install the latest service pack, it includes support for saving documents in PDF format.

Alternatively, there's always Open Office which is free and has included this feature for some time now.

Thanks Dot Net

I'm actually using 2003 at the moment.

We would like to convert from PDF to keep the same formating and style. That way we can chnage a couple of words and convert back to PDF.

There seem to be lots of tools out there but I was looking for a recomendation of which was reliable.

Well why not use Adobe Acrobat, it will open up the original PDF, you can do your editing and save directly to PDF.

As to saving any document to PDF I'd also endorse OpenOffice, save yourself a few bob not having to buy MS Office.

It's free but you can only do one document every half hour.
Or use OpenOffice (it's free) and do them as fast as you can press the button!
