whats all this about?! Went to their store tonight to buy a £50 router and did notice the majority of boxes were unsealed but didnt see the white pre owned sticker tucked away on the bottom of the box. Went to checkout and queried that if the box wasnt sealed how could I guarentee there wasnt something missing. Guy opened box and yes - 2 leads missing so got me another unsealed box - everything seems to be there and looks mint but "pre owned" is pretty unambigous and I know they say its just boxes that have been fiddled with by shoppers and they have stringent controls but nevertheless:rolleyes:

thing is I just cannot be arsed to drive 20 miles tomorrow to sling it back or should I:|

PC World?
Isn't that like admitting to sleeping with the pope when he still wore lederhosen shorts?

Use t'intertubes, like this and this, even this.

I know, I know, I wanted it by tonight. I could have ordered via ebuyer last night (earliest I knew I had to have one) and got it today for same price......

Unfortunately many computer stores practice the same thing. They sell you something as being new although it was already used and after you buy it you realize that there are some accessories missing. This is one of the reasons I buy only from certain places.
