As the HMRC CD doesnt produce payslips you could set up something on Excel and just print payslips onto plain paper, or buy any payslips and set up an Excel sheet that prints the appropriate figures in the right place.

If you want to see some payslips the software we use in my practice has some examples here - http://www.moneysoft.co.uk/pm_payslips.htm

We email payslips to clients now so no longer buy in payslips but the last time we did we used Custom forms. They were extremly good - http://www.customforms.co.uk/

If you do manage to find a template - would you mind letting me know
I have one employee and do not want to spend a lot of money - I do not want anything fancy - just a basic template and I can fill in the rest -
Regards:)

I have an excel file that produces payslips and summaries. If you let me have an email address I'll send it you.

I can't offer it FOC as it was written in work time, £25 + vat should anyone be interested.

For just under £50, you can buy Tom's software or Moneysoft. Both programmes do the same as the HMRCE CD Rom, but much, much better in terms of ease of use and speed (and also a heap of extra things too!:D)

Both of these programmes print payslips to blank paper, so no need for stationery

That being the case, I can't see many takers for a payslip template at £25 - Sorry

Fair comment, it was never intended to be marketed as such but unfortunately it couldn't be made freely available.
