Payslips without software

Hi there, I'm new on here and was wondering if anyone can suggest the best way to produce payslips as I no longer have the use of sage payroll and I am now using HM Revenue employers CD rom which doesn't offer this. Any ideas please would be great.

Cheryl:)

Thanks for the recommendation David.

Our software produces payslips for free for the first 6 weeks/months that you use it. After that you have to pay £48/year+VAT to carry on getting payslips, and to get support, updates, and some other things that you'll find useful. Several UKBF members have tried our software and found it to their liking. :)

The paid-for version has a choice of about 10 payslip layouts so you should be able to find one that suits you.

I could do you a wee Excel macro which will take a list of names and different amounts on a spreadsheet and, for each name, pull in a blank pre-formatted template, populate the template with the name and amounts for the employee, print it and move onto the next name on the list.

The template wil be pre-formatted to look as good as you want it, with Company Logo or whatever.

So, you prepare the list and save it. Then call the macro and it runs through the list, printing all the payslips in the list.

PM me if you are interested and, please include the version of Excel you want to use.

This could be a freebie if you talk nicely to me!

David & Tom, Thanks for the reccomendations, will take a look, although I am looking for a free way of doing it as on a very tight budget although it does sound very reasonable! Again, Thanks for the advice.

Jackie,

A 'wee' Excel macro! Sounds more than wee! You obviously know your stuff! Can just about make my way around Excel but what you say sounds fantastic! Will PM you with Excel version I have (prehistoric), when I discover how I can PM! (new on here)

Was thinking about using Excel but wanted to check first to see if there was any easier or more professional looking way before doing so! Thanks for your reply.
