Payment over the phone

I'm launching a new company in 3 weeks' time. I want to take payments over the phone and I'm looking for my options.

I don't want to apply directly for a merchant account just yet (hence can't use SagePay). And I'd rather avoid Paypal's virtual terminal too if I can.

Ideally I'd like to have a mobile terminal so I can print the receipt and attach it to the invoice. I've seen companies such as cardsave or paymentsense. Any recommendations?


I have a Streamline merchant account for my first company and wondered if this will make an application for the new company easier/quicker with less paperwork. I read they want business plan and all sorts these days for new businesses.

Cardsave were very helpful when I set up shop. Give them a try?

Try barclaycards EPDQ service I was going to use it but I decided against it in the end as it would of been an extra cost I didn't really need. They are really competitive on their price and if you hum and ar for a while they will usually drop the initial set up costs aswell.
