Pallet Racking / Warehouse Shelving

Hello,

We are moving in to a warehouse shortly in Essex and are going to have to purchase some pallet racking and shelving - to cover around 4,000sq ft. We will be needing both pallet racking and shelving. Can anybody recommend a cheap source? I have looked on Ebay at used items but although they are cheaper than new they still will prove to be an expensive purchase for us.

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

We always use Rapid racking, quite often found on ebay and the likes second hand but they will do a free assesment and plan for you when buying new so you get exactly what you need.

Avoid big-dug like the plague, we had some come in with a business we purchased and it was rubbish, low qualiy and flimsy.

I've found Qubestor to be really reasonable. They have used warehouse pallet racking and shelving which is in great condition but at a lower cost. This is them if you want to check them out.

I would recommend a mixture of pallet racking for the heavy stuff, longspan racking for hand loadable boxes and lighter duty racks or picking bin shelving for any small components you need to store.

It will be well worth the time getting a few quotes from different companies and comparing what they suggest as the best solution for you.
