Hi guys!

We have just launched our first ecommerce shop to take our business online and were pretty proud of what we have achieved in just a couple of months. We have a few cosmetic changes to be made but the site is fully functioning!

We sell integrated labels to online mail order companies and would really appreciate some feedback from some of you guys and any suggestions of any improvements.

Thanks

I there nice clean image you portray.
As a web designer/developer I will get fussy in that your logo is in flash which is fine because you want to animate but since Microsoft lost a court battle with Eolas over embedding active x activated components in HTML pages so Active content that is embedded in HTML pages in certain ways will not be able to receive user input (for example, keyboard or mouse events) until the user clicks to either activate or continue loading the control.
However there is a workaround. Contact me if you want for more information I will stop boring everyone now

Welcome and it's a very nice site you have there.

One thing - I'd move the breadcrumb navigation to higher up the page rather than the bottom as it is quite an importent visual device and shoud be more visable.

Thanks refresher i have PM'd you, and WebIT we will look at the positioning of the breadcrumb as you say it is a little hidden down there.

Fantastic site

Great idea.

Not sure how the search engines will view it as it is not really optimised. Shame its a great site as well.

Thanks guys, everything you mentioned above is in hand with our web designer, just taking a little time.

With such a niche product as integrated labels we are finding that we are having a good response from the search engines already and have begun pay per click with both google and overture

Thanks Axxe!

Its really coming along now, we have many partnerships coming into force on the commercial side, were busy producing our partners page at the moment.

We have worked closely with EMK Powershop, Lynx Internet, Holbi OScommerce, Get Trolleyed and many others to make sure our label product is compatible with online shops despatch systems.

This is designed to make it as easy as possible for online sellers to integrate our products into their despatch operation.

We are also working with ebay and are now an official Protx partner.

We believe building partnerships and ensuring compatability of our product key to our success.

Oh well back to the hard graft now!!

Thanks

Andy, you remind me of the people who made a lot of money in the gold rush selling gold panning supplies - less glamourous but lucrative!

This is a fab niche.

HAHA! Something like that!

Did you receive your free sample pack? were getting inundated with requests at the moment, not that we are complaining!

Yes, we got it thank you.

Are thinking about our options. We kind of have this area covered but like your product very much. It isn't right for the main warehouse as we too great a volume, but for the office it would be good - but would need another printer to prevent people printing other stufff onto the labelled sheets.

hiya

cool clean site.. good work
my only recommendation would be getting rid of the _blank links - every link clicked at the top of your header opens up a new page..not very user friendly. only use these types of links if you dont want your visitor to leave the site while your refering them to someone else's website

Nice looking site. It's great to see such a clear call to action on the homepage.

Incidentally those of us with Flash switched off can't view your logo; would also recommend renaming your homepage from 'Untitled Document' to something more descriptive.

you say you are getting untitled document on the homepage but this has been changed 2 days ago? weird.

Were working on an alternative for the logo now.

if anyone was interested the majority of our images came from istockphoto.com all were just $1 each

Why are you pushing the name pickitpackit.co.uk when your website defaults to integrated-label.co.uk? You really should use one or the other...

Hi,
Its a nice looking site, well done.

I think you could improve your add to basket process.

I could only see the option to add to basket rather than choose a QTY and add to basket.

I know you can change the QTY in the checkout, but by that time I had forgotten the prices for all QTY bandings.

Also the checkout is a completely different layout to the rest of the site, and I felt a bit lost at this point, and my only option was to continue shopping.

Regards

Site looks good - we use similar label across our various businesses but they are sourced from a local company in Northampton on pretty competitive terms but we're always happy to look at other options to see if we can save a few ££'s in today market
