So, let’s say you have loads of items to sell from collectibles to brick a brac items, a real mixture, £50 to £500 Retail.

Online orders only, package, box up and dispatch by mail.

Are we still looking at eBay store to shift it? Or are any of these other sites a better option.? I’m not a fan of Facebook, can’t be doing with it.

Any thoughts appreciated

Interesting as I am also in the throws of off loading a load of collectables, a massive antique glass collection etc. Was even thinking of now waiting too the summer and doing a few large boot / antique sales where pretty sure a lot of "traders" frequent.

What I would say is don't send anything to Vintage -Cash-Cow as seen advertised on tv I gave them a try and they "lost" a whole box of items from cameras to toys ........ still fuming about it now

That’s where I’m at, I have some steiff bears, signed posters, paintings, I even have some film props, then loads of general items a lot in a storage unit.

I know what you mean about doing a large boot sale it’s just a lot of these items are going to be like a couple of hundred quid and I don’t fancy standing around all day with slow sales and then returning home with 70% of the goods. I think the items will sell, especiallywith Christmas coming up but not a mad rush if you follow. Would rather photo, upload to a site and dispatch to any takers.

Thinking eBay is my bet but I took a look yesterday and see loads of listed items but not that many sales.

For me, Amazon is where you buy the stuff you want and eBay is where you sell the stuff you don't. eBay is perfect for this kind of thing, especially now there are no fees for private sellers, and exactly what I will be doing when it comes to BFCM in a few weeks

Definitely eBay but check out Tiktok as well - somehow growing fast and it doesn't give as much headache as Amazon gives

How about an auction site like Bidspotter or one of their associates like the-saleroom.com? They often have film props, *posters etc., on there.

*I went up to £80 to try and secure a poster that sold for £1700 so not a giveaway auction...

I'd start with the usual places , Marketplace, Gumtree, Vinted and ebay.

If you want to sell in bulk, look for collectors and resellers. Check those with a YouTube and Tiktok presence.
