Online accountant - recommendation?

Hi,

Could someone please recommend chartered fixed fee online accountant.
Mainly we would do all bookkeeping ourself (invoice in/out, bank statements, vat returns, year end accounts).
We would need an accountant to supervise our input data and answer some questions time to time.

We don't need quotes from "companies" £0 - 30.000 =?, £30.000 - 125.000 =?

Budget is £40/pm.

If anyone is using an accountant that is straight forward I would appreciate if they can pass the information through PM or direct post.

Depends what type of service you require. Typically anyone who quotes the lowest is not the best.
Ask yourself why would anyone sell their years of training and skill short?

After you've compiled a shortlist of online accountants you could post a thread in the tenders forum and then you might get a better idea on prices for the work you need completing.

The problem with asking for recommendations here is that once people appoint an accountant they tend not to need to be here asking questions anymore so wont see your post.

My firm has a considerable number of clients which have come to us from the forum but they dont come here as they dont need to.

You may possibly find you get a few recommendations on the general forum.
