Hi, Wonder if anyone can help me with some advice,
Last week i put in for an advert (6cm by 14.7cm) in one of my local newspapers which is distributed to about 93,000 people.
Eager to see the publication come out this morning i went down to their head office to pick up a copy before mine would be delivered tommorow. I opened the newspaper to find that they had printed my advert in mono instead of colour print.
Having kicked up a fuss and speaking to person on the main desk they said they could refund the difference between mono and colour (£30) or they would take it off if i have another advert.
I dont find this satisfactory as i paid £285 for a bright yellow advert to appear in the paper not a dull mono print so do you think i am within my rights to ask them to print it again in Colour next week free of charge.
The error occured because the person processing my advert didnt tick either Mono or Colour on the order sheet and if that occurs then Mono is selected by default on there system.
Eagerly awaiting your advice.
