New Template on website what do you think ?

i have a new design on my site and was looking for feedback ?

I've only looked at the home page but here are a few suggestions:

• Lose the spinning football logo - it's distracting.
• Shorten the intro to one paragraph or remove it. I want to see your products above the fold.
• Give the product link text some style that lets me easily know they are links. At the moment the links to categories stand out way more than the product links.

my 2 cents are:

Positive:
- fast loading
- relatively clear layout
- navigation is good

Changes I would make
- clean up your source code in the head
- shrink the height of your header i.e. reduce vertical white space
- enlarge the images of your product
- better quality images of your products
- tone down the red header above each product, it's not letting the images communicate with the user

I agree with logo may change that
I deffo agree with intro its way too long lol i have shorten it

i will reduce the space for the header

now the images think i 100% agree the problem is most of my images are stock images how can make them better quailty as if i increase them they will depixel

but i will look into this

i will tone dowm the header

Hi,

aside from the design, how about adding some humour or some content?
You can ignore this if you are selling loads and getting loads of hits. For quote some funny stories about obsessive sports fans and the lengths they go to support their teams, profile some mad for it fans, maybe add a blog. It might help with seo and be more sticky than just a line up of products.

i have managd to change all the images this is the bigest they will go on that template

i have added images marque to sales box and put it further up the page

i dont now how to stop the football ?

i will look into header this eveing

Hi,

I think it's a great website. It looks really good, professional, fast loading, gives you what you want within seconds.

My only comment would be that with a website title as sporting desires I would prefer to see things relating to other sports rather than just football and rugby. I realise I prefer sports such as equestrian and tennis, and i realise that I'm in the minority, but I'd have loved it if you'd had merchandies relating to these sports as well.

Our plan is to expand into all sports it just takes time and resources
I have spent way too long on the website lol

my aim is to build the site over next few years and have sections for all sports I even have them all set in categories just need the products

we also want to create a community for sporting fans with prize draws, polls and forum,

well that's the aim am looking a lot more positive these days lol

According to me, a good image can attract buyers more, than a blurry one (lol).

3) I noticed that your site footer is very simple, I think you can do something. Why don't you ad the header strip (red strip) for your footer, I think this will give a good look to your site.

and i have added a bar to the bottom of the page for the site docs

It's easy to navigate, and the products are well displayed although I agree about the fuzzy photos.

The white space at the top is just crying out for a banner with more impact. Something like a SWF banner that rotates from a football piccie to tennis to rugby etc for example, easy to incorporate into the design and would really add to impact.
