It's a busy market, many providers and domains are cheap. I'd say just pick any one and go for it, I used 123REG.
Who you use for your hosting would be a slightly more important decision, doesn't have to be who you register your domain name through.

123reg are good for domain registration but I wouldn’t ever use them for hosting.

With that in mind SiteGround or Bluehost

My preferred host is Asset

Just make sure wherever you buy there are no transfer out fees etc.. and the renewal isn't massively high

Always used godaddy and had no problems

We've always liked https://www.dynadot.com/ but it appears CloudFlare do domains these days and that would have the benefit of being able to update DNS very quickly by default https://www.cloudflare.com/en-gb/products/registrar/

namecheap are one of the best 1&1, 123, TSO and godaddy can be a PITA with some domain/renewals.
