Need advice from e-commerce experts

My company was established a month ago. I'm going to do e-commerce. Currently, the company's website is being created. My strategy is to carry out commercial activities in dropshipping mode via the affiliation route via the Amazon platform, first in the United Kingdom and gradually in the Schegen space. I would like to have the experts' advice on this strategy.
Thank you for your support.

Do you have a marketing plan? Have you researched the products you plan to sell?

Both of these need to be in place before building the website.

What you will need to do is make sure the product images are suitable and you have reworked the descriptions.

And even though you plan to dropship, you will need full contact details in the UK.

Sounds like you will be able to keep amazon is a heavily competed place. What products are you looking to sell?

Personally, I love internationalising. Non-english speaking countries offer strong - lower competed - opportunities. But it does come with another set of challenges. But I would recommend it.

Not sure what you mean by this. Are you aware that there are strict rules for drop-shipping on Amazon? The main one is that any slips/receipts, etc included with the order must show your details and not your suppliers. As far as the Amazon customer is concerned, they are buying from you and the responsibilities are all yours. Amazon will not care if there is an issue with your supplier - the buck will stop with you. This is what Amazon says...

    Drop Shipping Policy

Drop shipping, or allowing a third-party to fulfil orders to customers on your behalf, is not acceptable unless it is clear to the customer that you are the seller of record. The following examples of drop shipping are policy violations that may result in a restriction of your ability to sell using Amazon’s Merchant Fulfilled Network (MFN):
    • Purchasing products from a third party, including Amazon or another seller in Amazon’s stores, and having that third party ship directly to customers, if the shipment does not identify you as the seller of record or if anyone other than you (including the third party) appears on packing slips, invoices, or external packaging, it is strictly prohibited without exception; or
    • Shipping orders with packing slips, invoices, external packaging, or other information indicating a seller name or contact information other than your own is also strictly prohibited.
Any time a customer sees packaging, invoices, or receipts identifying a seller that is not you it creates confusion for the customer about how their order is being fulfilled and whom they should contact with any problems or questions.
If you intend to fulfill orders using another company’s fulfillment service, a third-party logistics company, or a drop shipper, you must always:
    • Have an agreement with your supplier where you are the only seller of record and the only entity identified as the seller of your products on all packing slips, invoices, external packaging, or any other information included or provided in connection with the products;
    • Remove any packing slips, invoices, external packaging, or other information identifying a different seller or third-party supplier prior to shipping the order; and
    • Remain responsible for accepting and processing customer returns, and always comply to the: Business Solutions Agreement (BSA) and applicable Amazon policies.

    Hi Alain,
Your strategy of using dropshipping through Amazon's affiliate program is a solid start for your e-commerce venture. Here are a few tips to enhance your approach:
    1. Market Research: Ensure thorough research of your target market in the UK and Schengen area to understand consumer preferences and competition.
    2. SEO and Marketing: Optimize your website for search engines and invest in digital marketing to drive traffic.
    3. Customer Service: Establish a reliable customer service system to handle inquiries and issues efficiently.
    4. Legal Considerations: Familiarize yourself with the legal requirements for dropshipping in each region you plan to operate.
Best of luck with your new business!

Amazon doesn't like drop shipper sellers; you might have a problem in a few months. I suggest to keep stock if you want to be a good seller on Amazon.
