If you want the definitve guide.....
A friend gave me a book the other day called: Go MAD the art of making a difference.
Anyone read it>?
I'm not much of a reader, but it is very informative and I found myself agreeing and disagreeing with the business ethics in the pages.
It's full "inspirational" quotes like: I do whatever i can, wherever i can, whenever i can, for as long as i can, with whatever time i have to make a difference - Jimmy Carter Choice not chance determines the difference you make Where there's no will, there's no way
and this is probably my favourite as I quote it to a colleague of mine, who gets wound up real easy:
"every minute you are angry, you lose sixty seconds of happiness"
Not really motivational, but perfect for focusing the mind: Alan Sugar's "I can sell tenners for nine quid all day long" when he's trying to get through to some Slick Young Thing that doesn't quite get it.
I also like his "Mug's eyeful" quote on how he marketed his stuff to chavs.
"No one ever attains very eminent success by simply doing what is required of him; it is the amount and excellence of what is over and above the required that determines the greatness of ultimate distinction"Charles Kendall Adams
