Can;t add much value here, except I was trained in electronics by the military, I've fixed electronic instruments as a career, I'll have a go at fixing anything (e.g. "What, you've a problem with you hubble space telescope? Send it round, I'll have a look"), but I positively sh1t myself each & everytime I open a mobile phone (too much potential for damage disassembling/reassembling - then there's athe micro ribbon connectors shearing etc etc ...I'd love to know how they can teach you to repair all the variants out there - my mind boggles.
