Mini Chocolate Bar Wrappers

I have some mini chocolate bars I'm working on for my homemade confectionery company similar in size to mini mars bars. I need wrappers that are just like those I want to make it a more professional product than the others that I sell and eventually get it into stores. Does anyone know where large sweet companies get their wrappers from or any company at all that sells those type of wrappers? Not sure what to search and only finding companies selling custom wrappers for large 100g bars and things like that.

What production runs are you anticipating?

You'll probably need machinery as well as the wrappers.

I would advise a hand-made wrapper as this shows the 'artisan' quality of your product.

And spending several pence on a nice wrapper can add considerably more to the price.
Present as high quality and can charge prices to match. There will be people willing to buy.

Found some suppliers on alibaba and through packaging federation but too expensive for me right now including the heat seal machine I'd have to get as well. I will save the idea for these chocolate bars for later and slowly work on it but I've thought of a better method to make more money at the local markets and also get more products out. This way that I've thought of means I can bring out 1 new product every week. I'll use the cheap usual packaging which is food safe cellophane bags with labels on for the markets to eventually get enough money to make professional packaging and get everything I need to sell in retail stores.

You may consider making your own 3D moulds in trays using food safe filaments by 3D Printers which these days can be brought online for about £140. This would enable your products to me moulded to whatever shapes you require and also have a name or message on the bottom of each sweet by using a free software called "Tinkercad" a simple and easy to learn software package

Just like cake tins, you pour your hot liquid into the moulds and when cool they come out in the shape ect you require

If you don't have the money to buy the printer then there is bound to be someone you know who has one and could make them for you. The costs are most likely under £1 per tray

I used to have a 3D printer but sold it 2 years ago so I know how to use them and I also need moulds as well didn't think of using 3D printer so thanks. One on eBay for £70 and it's better than the one I used to have but similar to it as well. Been using lego bricks as a mould for time being so definitely need proper moulds before I sell any.

Go to any farmers market or artisan shop and see how much people pay for stuff. It will be the same product you get in Tesco but now has a fancy box and ‘hand made’ authenticity.

You are, I think by the look of your post, looking for a wrapper which is film material amd wraps like a mars bar. It is a film material, usually 20 microns, printed, with another 20 micron film atop. you will hear this referred to as 20/20 micron thickness and is a great starting point for a premium feel wrapper which isn't too costly. I have used this before, having had it manufactyred n the UK, and printed in the UK. cost os between 1p- 3p for the print runs I used to order. You can get all sorts of film prinbted, be it gloss, matt or what have you. You can even have 'windows' in the film (though not a good idea with confectionery.

OPM printers in leeds were always very good. There is considerable talent and expertise in film printing and wrapping design in the UK. Dont even bother going elsewhere.

Id suggest having a chat with them just to see what the options are.
