Making Tax digital for partnerships

Hi all,

My wife and I are in business together as a partnership.

I keep getting info sent to me by HMRC about 'Making Tax Digital' but so far it doesn't seem to be for partnerships. Am I misunderstanding the situation or have they just not bother to implement it for partnerships yet. I tried talking to HMRC, but that was a bit unfulfilling as the guy didn't really seem to know what I was talking about. After explaining the situation, he went off for a bit and then came back and basically said 'dunno', gave me some numbers to phone, but they turned out to be irrelevant.

Any ideas?

At present MTD does not apply to partnerships, it may however apply to a partner if they have other incomes.
