Okay no way near as exciting as Tony making it in the Sun :lol: but it's put a big smile on my face this morning. Web User who for those that don't know is one of the UK's biggest selling internet magazines.

My Travel Rants site was reviewed (got 3/5 stars) and they mentioned that it had great content for anyone wanting to nip abroad on holiday ... and the site covered a wide range of travel subjects ..

... in the shops on Monday!

Thanks for your feedback folks ... I've just read the thread about keeping business business.. so maybe this should be moved to time out.

To try and make the thread more business like, if you want any assistance on getting your site listed in this magazine let me know...

It's not brain science.. just a non waffle approach to promoting your business

I would consider getting in newspapers / magazines and the "how to" questions that would follow to be general business.

Wel done, nothing beats a bit of free press

Well .... 'how to get listed in magazines'

Don't waffle just send a simple quick email saying Hi, this is my site, feel free to review it or contact me if you have any questions' ... that's all I did.

Editors must get hundreds of emails every day of the week.. so it's best to be quick, to the point, and use an interesting subject in the email.

I've emailed this editor before, and waffled, so I went for the swift approach, and it appeared to work this time.
