Looking to transfer files for free

Can anyone point me in the right direction of a free service for data transferring - I have a 25mb file I would like a customer to be able to download from the web (as it is quicker than jamming their inbox)

I second Dropbox - I use it regularly with a number of clients. Easy to use and secure.

Neither are really "business orientated", but both will work.

How often do you need to do this?

Instead of setting up things you don't understand you can simply log on to MSN Messenger and send the file, get the client to log on and download, if both on broadband, it should not take too long.

Having used it personally to transfer large video files, I know it works effectively, although I agree it can be a little slow.

My point to the OP was, if he only wants to do this infrequently, then setting up a service may be too much work when he could use MSN Messenger.

Clearly, to do frequent files transfer then MSN would not be the best option and other members had already directed him to those options.

Sendspace its free. or you can use any online messenger like , MSN, yahoo, google talk, skype and etc. Those mention are recommended.

Just create a new directory, upload the file and send the URL to the client.
