Are there any business consultants I can speak to to get help in setting up a loft insulation company?
With the need to retrofit millions of homes there's loads of work out there, I just don't know how I'd go about setting it all up and getting the work.
I did the job myself for about 6 months almost 15 years ago under the green deal scheme so know what is physically involved and as awful as the work itself is, I'd be more inclined to do it if the money was there. I checked accounts of a few insulation company's that had put job ads on indeed and the turnover ranged from a few hundred thousand up to 28million! so I'm thinking I must be able to do alright even if it's just me and a labourer. The actual business side is where I'm going to need some direction.
Any ideas?

@matt90bc Setting up a business is relatively straightforward, but don't fall into the trap that your type of entrant with some practical experience commonly falls into - ie thinking that running the business is easy.

There's a lot more to running the business besides actually blundering about in the bat poo up in the loft, and that has to be paid for and reflected in your pricing.

First step: Get a business plan together, including cash flow projections to see if your idea is viable.

Happy to have a call with you and see where it goes from there - please message me.
