Lead Generation Companies- Call & Visit?

Hi all,

Have read a fair bit on here about call centres generating leads for businesses but I wonder if anyone has any experience/knows of companies who call out & then visit the customer as well? Just to give you an idea, the product is for the B2B market and comes at no upfront cost, commissions would be in the £000s.

Any help on this would be great!

Call centres with outside sales too? Hrmm, interesting - I'll be waiting to hear the responses on this!

I would have thought you'd be targeting businesses with complementary products/services so that they could upsell by adding your product/service into their mix. It's much easier to coattail on a sale than it is to independently sell from start to finish.

Thanks Webgeek, yes my thoughts were that a director/manager who owns a call centre could have one of their guys generating the leads and then go out and close the sale in exchange for a larger commission. If someone's not doing this, it doesn't sound like a bad idea to me! It would be ideal for me to target different areas of the country. Never thought of your suggestion, I'll have to look into that a bit more!
