So has anyone taken the plunge and signed up? What are your thoughts? I've arranged a call from them on Tuesday, am considering signing up myself since its a while till my next returns are due so no big risk.

It would be great if you could keep us all up to date with how it works out. Love to know how the initial contact goes and, if you sign up, whether they are able to deliver for the price quoted. Our historic contacts with KPMG indicated charge out rates circa £350 per hour which wouldn't buy much time with their proposed monthly rates

My initial thoughts are they'll promise the world but either not deliver or hike charges to accommodate.

I'd also expect there to be some offshore outsourcing somewhere along the way.

It says from £145pm for sole traders. The word from being the important word.

Even with charge out rates of £350ph, £145 per month is achievable with no outsourcing for basic sole trader jobs.

I don't know any sole traders that would or could pay this though.

ok, so I take it no on else has signed up yet? From the initial call it seems like a good offer - they exclusively use xero for all accounts, no choice in the matter. Fine for us as we already use it. We'd be paying a tad less than our current accountants charge for the annual accounts and significantly less for bookkeeping. No outsourcing but they use the 'Receipt Bank' plugin to automate the work.

Seems like a very efficient setup and I'm sure its profitable for them without having to hike up the charges in future.

Whether the service lives up to the sales pitch is yet to be seen, but with a free trial and no minimum commitment it seems they're going to win a lot of business.

Thanks for feedback. It would be useful if you could report back on how well it works for you :) It would also be interesting to know if you get any business out of their promise to "Promote your services free to over 13,000 KPMG staff"

I did try their services and they made my life so much easier. They use Xero as a fixed standard accounting software but is easy to use and I like it. Price is a bit expensive but when you look at how much paperwork you save! you will be delighted!

Anyway, everything is explained on their website
