Is there a CMS that is very SEO friendly, where it has an excellent shopping cart and where the buyers can input codes for a discount please?

Have a look at Opencart. It is a shopping cart with some CMS and you can use discount codes. It is free and there is a wide range of extensions to add extra functions.

OpenCart is free, you just need some cheap hosting for a few pounds a month to get started. Of course if you start selling lots then you'll need better hosting but you'll have the money to cover it at that point.

Sorry you make me laugh when you ask for something good and then ask for something free.

In any case free things still costs you money ( sometime that is unearned money in terms of time - but as a business you should still count time as money )

I agree you can build a free website, whether you are likely to may any return on invested time is probably unlikely. However start with woocommerce, it is, in my opinion, the best free ecommerce platform going.

Woocomerce as stated before but I would add why?
It runs on wordpress which is 'easy' for SEO but is an established reliable scalable cheap platform.
There are plenty of professionals you can get help from myself included if you need it.
I personally run J2 store on a joomla website and that works well just that joomla is harder to get the SEO right, at least for the non developer. Even developers get that bit wrong. Both are low cost easy to use.
The advantage to using a non e-commerce platform is that you can then build out the site to cover content marketing and all sorts all off the one platform.

WooCommerce is probably one of the easiest to get going, get themes for and of course - get a dev/designer further down the line. Very universal which is why its so popular. Much of it is down to personal preference however, majority that have been suggested in the thread can easily be installed on any hosting account - usually by a click or two of a button.
