I see a part of page 1. I can then move around the iframe to see the rest of page 1 but not the other pages.

Clicking to download opens the pdf in the same window which means I can use the back arrow to get back to the web page.

Do you really need the iframe? Why not just have the download link?

    Thanks,

The pages are primarily set up for providing information at meetings where there will be a laptop set up for people to see it on, and they will be given URL so they can also view it in their own time.

I doubt many people will even understand or read the PDFs, but the visual effect of page 1 of them, makes it worth including on the page in an iframe

I also doubt many would click on the download link (even if more prominent) and if they did I doubt they would then navigate back to the site.

Trying to make it really easy for computer illiterate but also useful to those who can navigate through the info

Then do what we did and take a screenshot of page 1 and put that on the page. Click on the image to access the pdf.

Note: Using firefox the iframe doesn't even load. I see an empty box and the pdf downloads automatically

The image is a bit wide, and people clicking to view the pdf probably wouldn't navigate back

I could split it in to 2 images and drop map under info on mobile.

I could probably do away with the PDF completely and just show 1st page as an image, but want the info on there for the people who it would interest.

Maybe have the image and brief info at top for the majority and the PDF lower down for those who are more interested.

That’s not too bad. Is there anyway to extract the data and have a table on the page? The mismatched font sizes make it look a bit odd.

How does an iPhone tread PDF's in frames?
    I’ll DM you a screenshot

Do you think this would work better -
Fwiw I like this one the best.

I would have big button marked “Full details” rather than ask folk to read a long sentence: we know we need to click something, that doesn’t need saying

On the breadcrumb trail (?lingo) you want “Effect on Shipston” not Affect (but “how might it affect Shipston” is accurate)

Oh the other thing on iPhones and i frames is you can get stuck in the doc: you scroll to the doc, which itself is scrollable, but then you can’t find any of the regular page canvas to scroll away. Scroll to your heart’s content on the doc, forget about ever getting to the bottom of the webpage

Idk if this is an iPhone problem or a web developer problem

I set the width of the iframes at 90% or 95% to allow a bit of space for scrolling the main page, don't know know it works on iphone though
