Good afternoon,
My name is George.
I'm retired and live in Middle East. It's getting hot now (42C) and my golf is limited to two days a week and want to use spare time to good use. I help my son and his new business, am half way through a life coaching course and have just qualified as a RYA Skipper.
My background is mainly as Finance Director roles but transitioned by means of a Warwick Business School MBA, into Operations Director and as Managing Director & major shareholder of a marcomms SME, with other roles involved in internal consulting, people development and counselling.
Industries covered - steel manufacture, whisky manufacture, reprographics, software as a service, marcomms, consulting. Countries worked in - Scotland (21yrs), England (8yrs), Saudi Arabia (6yrs), UAE (1yr) and Bahrain (4yrs).
What can I give UKBF? - the best of my knowledge or guidance in any matters but ideally from those above.
What can UKBF help me with? - with filling any gaps in my knowledge or up to date guidance that I lack. I am interested in doing some work but am more in a giving back mode of my life, so am working on church projects amongst other interests.
