Internet explorer progress bar missing

I've noticed that the progress bar which is usually at the bottom of each IE window (just above the start bar etc) has gone. It shows the progress of websites loading etc.

How can i get it back??

ALT+V, B

Or click view, select status bard

If it keeps dissapearing then close all IE and explorer windows. Open just one window. Make it appear. Close the window.
