Just putting a quote in to a customer of ours, we will print the order and then it needs distributing to locations around the globe.

Vietnam, Belgium, USA to name a few.

We have an account with UK Mail but their international charges seems a little excessive.

It's a 'one off' job that may re occur and is the only real international shipments we will send.

Any suggestions on who to use so I can get a quote put in... and hopefully win the order.

Last time I quoted we got battered on the deliver charges not the print.

Hi,

I work closely with an international mailing house who distribute for a number of large and small clients.

Can you let me know rough numbers/timescales?

Please feel free to contact me with some details and I will ask someone to contact you.

Regards

Jon

We regularly send a few boxes to a customer of ours in Australia and we saved around £100 booking through Interparcel (express saver option) - The most annoying thing was that the courier they used turned out to be our usual courier that we spend a fortune with monthly anyway but Interparcel get special prices!

Also it's worth having a look at the customs limits for each Country as it can come as a big shock to the customer when they get landed with a huge customs release bill that they weren't expecting.

I like Fedex but found them to be very expensive compared to the £2.99 per parcel that I recommend to my Clients via the solution suggested by Abe Choi.

Yes, for emerchants whose products are always 0-500g packets, I do believe that Fedex would be far too expensive. Sellers of small/light items such as CDs, t-shirts, phone accessories etc who are used to paying between £1 - £2 for untracked would, in my experience/opinion, only be prepared to pay £3 - £5 for a fully tracked service to USA and this is where Abe Choi's suggested solution is applicable/recommended.
