So last week I was dismissed without notice or warning, I am on zero hours, but work regularly shifts each week, get holiday pay and have a contact as a worker. I've been their over a year but not two . One committee member who happens to be treasurer, has issues with me and has been bullying me for months, messing around with my pay, ignoring me , making stuff up and basically turning people against me, I have evidence of all this but a meeting was called last week , I had no knowledge I was even on the agenda but at 9.30 pm I get a call from my bar manager to tell me I've been sacked . I've had no reason or opportunity to appeal or have representation nor a verbal or written warning. The members who I serve arnt happy that the committee voted for me to go after hearing his lies .
Acas has said nothing I can do as I've not been there 2 years, but my contract states I have the right to representation in a dismissal hearing and the right and protection from discrimination and harassment. Any ideas what I can do anyone .

Bit harsh dont you think. Should I leave as no longer in business
You have been in business. The OP is asking only for advice for an employee. I am afraid this is the forum policy.

So we kick out someone who seems to have been employed and askes for some simple help. Its not like we are snowed under with ex employees requests. Shame on the policy maker they cannot answer a simple question
