Why should any insolvency practitioners who are participating members be treated any differently to other members who appear to be allowed to tout for business. Isn't that part of the purpose of UKBF as a networking tool. Alan never appears to tout for business but the nature of his comments would certainly encourage me to speak to him if I needed insolvency advice

I'm pretty sure the godd IP's on here get contacted by people for the same reason you and I do... they do some research, read our posts, are interested by what we've said... and want to know more...

For me that's where most of it ends - but that doesn't ignore the small handful of quality clients I've met through UKBF... if you've had more than a handful - then good for you... bottom line though... this forum can't fail to help more than it sells... so more biz owners ending up winning!

I wholeheartedly agree, Ian. There are rules on here about touting and I imagine the admins will enforce them!
